About us Northwest Catering Ltd is a family run contract catering company based in Thornton cleveleys, We currently have contracts at three local sites and hope to expand further over the coming months.
please note, this is a job in a busy kitchen, it will include working weekends, not all of them, but most, it will include working evenings & days, again, not all of them, but most, it’s going to have days that seem like they never end but they will and at the end of each month you will receive fair pay for a hard day/nights work, I’m happy to discuss hourly rate at the same time as we discuss your skill set and what it is that you can bring to the business, key words will be, hard working, reliable, punctual and caring, especially about the food you are putting out, the work consists of a breakfast menu, bar menu & snacks, buffets, hot & cold, multiple course dining, corporate events and much much more. there will be a set menu to follow for some part but you will have menu input and availability to showcase your talents on the specials board and at our many upcoming events
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in a professional kitchen, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have restaurant industry experience, a passion for food prep, and strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus and recipes for the restaurant.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Manage the kitchen staff and delegate tasks accordingly.
- Ensure that all food is prepared according to health and safety regulations.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper food preparation techniques.
- Order ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Work with other chefs to create unique dishes.
