Job description
Come and join our team at our new Charity Shop that is opening soon in Hereford
If you want to gain new skills and rebuild your confidence, nothing beats our charity shops. As a volunteer you’ll be at the heart of helping stock the shop – whether you’re sorting through donations, on the shop floor helping with standards, or behind the scenes processing donations and helping with online sales alongside fellow team members.
This is a flexible retail assistant role where you can try different roles throughout the shop until you find your role, such as helping with online sales by valuing items, getting creative with shop displays or getting trained to serve customers on the till, to name but a few roles.
Our shop volunteers are essential to the running of our shops - we couldn’t do it without them. Whichever retail assistant role you choose to do, you’ll be part of a small team providing raising funds to help the Midlands Air Ambulance.
Say hello to the team:
Funding for the Charity begins at your local charity shop. Now, more than ever, we are in urgent need of volunteers to enable us to continue our life saving service. This wouldn’t be possible without our fantastic volunteers.

Typical tasks include:
· Sorting donations in the stock room ready for sale, helping run the department
· Helping coordinate our online sales operation and spotting the items to sell online!
