The No Way Trust Ltd – (Prison! Me! No Way) Fundraiser
The No Way Trust (More commonly known as PMNW) is an educational charity which was established in1993 concerned with the welfare of the young. We operate throughout numerous areas of England and Wales to provide a learning experience designed to help young people aged 9 to 18 stay safe, reduce risky behaviour, avoid crime, make better choices, and understand how the law and justice is administered.

We are looking for a fundraiser who can work on a hybrid basis – able to write successful bids for trust and grant money. This post may appeal more to people who enjoy research and preparing proposals and have the ability to continue developing relationships with our key partners and supporters.
Salary: £29,640 pa pro rata.
Contract Hours: 20 hours hybrid working per week (equates to 20 x £15.00 PH = £15,600 per annum)
This post is a permanent contract. As the successful candidate will be occasionally visiting youth venues to gather data to support funding applications, an enhanced DBS check is required for this post.

As a charity fundraiser, you will need to:
Motivate and facilitate our key partners and supporters and build new grant funding partnerships
Secure new investment while maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters
Raise awareness of the charity and its work at local and national levels, e.g., giving talks to groups or seeking photo opportunities with the media
Increase funds by researching and targeting charitable trusts whose criteria match the charity's aims and activities
Manage and update databases to record donor contact and preference information,
and write applications to a wide range of existing and potential new donors
Be willing to visit schools and venues we currently visit to gain an understanding of the work we do
Skills required - You will need to show:

A proactive attitude, drive and enthusiasm to carry out projects to conclusion
The ability to influence others using excellent communication skills

Resilience, particularly when faced with setbacks
Sensitivity to the needs of volunteers and donors
A willingness to carry out a range of administrative tasks.
Work experience
Previous fund-raising experience would be desirable
