JOB DESCRIPTION
Busy Buttons CORE Charity seek a Charity Assistant, to help with current and ongoing charity workshops and community events, especially the Coronation Summer programme. This position will work as part of a successful team to ensure the smooth execution of educational programs and events to help young people in the local community. We work with organisations from various sectors including Government agencies, world heritage organisations, corporations and other not-for-profit organisations.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Oversee workshops and events from start to finish
- Liase with the workshop leader to ensure resources are available
- Learn and follow safety regulations
- Assist with seasonal art projects
- Support group sessions
- Greet visitors
- Proudly represent the charity
- Uptake other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS
- No formal qualifications required
- Problem solver
- Willing to learn & a can-do attitude
- Reliable team player
- Keen eye for detail
- Friendly & cheerful disposition
