Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people and local communities? We are recruiting for two new Chaplains, to replace our amazing out-going Chaplain as they move on to a new, closer-to-home challenge. As an association covering a huge geographical area, we are splitting the roles to work in what we call the North and the South. North is Havering, Barking & Dagenham and Brentwood- South is Dartford, West Kent, Ashford and Woolwich.
There are three core elements of our Chaplains role:
- Pastoral care for members and staff
- Building and sustaining relationships with churches and other faith groups
- Enabling the golden thread of Christian basis throughout our work
If you have at least three years of spiritual, pastoral and religious leadership experience we would love to hear from you. You will have an in depth knowledge of the Christian faith as well as an understanding and knowledge of other faiths and beliefs.
As part of the Corporate Services directorate and the immediate Marketing, Communications and Fundraising team, you will be fully supported in your work. You will have a proven record of pastoral experience and have excellent communication/interpersonal skills. The role is an exciting opportunity for those individuals seeking a challenge, stimulation and reward.
