Chapel Restaurant Manager
We are looking for a passionate person to take the helm at our signature restaurant, The Chapel. The building is historic and the vaulted ceilings and inspired visual displays create a fitting ambiance for the food, rivaling the best in Cornwall and beyond. It offers our guests the chance to experience something truly memorable with our focus on seasonal ingredients and locally sourced produce, delivered with sustainability and ethics as prerequisites.
To be successful you will need to have a calm, collaborative, and deliberate approach, understanding the benefits of being hands-on with coaching and mentoring. You will want to enthusiastically share your knowledge and love for great quality food, wine, and service with your team around you, seeing their success as your success. This will be coupled with an abundance of positivity to build strong working partnerships with our managers across the business. This is a challenging role, but the opportunities are plentiful and as a result, as well as being able to work independently, you will need to be solutions focused, see every challenge as an opportunity, and be relentless in achieving the standards and quality expected.
This position holds full P&L accountability and responsibility for the success of the department. This means that you will be expected to own and drive the sales conversions, marketing requirements, and budget achievement while also being prudent with labour costs, purchasing, and GP delivery.

The key qualifications we need or prefer:
- Exceptional guest-facing management experience
- Good written and verbal English
- PC and EPOS literate
- Experience working within high-quality dining
- Demonstrable employer loyalty
- Experience in coaching and mentoring (preferred)
