The Change Management Specialist will be a member of the centralised transformation & change squad in the Major Projects organisation.
The squad is responsible for supporting the change management activities in P&O Projects, driving consistency and providing expertise in managing digital, process and organizational change.
This role will involve working to the Change Management Lead in support of several high-profile business changes.
What you will do:
The successful candidate will work with multiple stakeholders and project / product managers in applying a standardized approach to change management. Key responsibilities will include the following:
Conduct and analyse change impact assessment.
Carry out detailed stakeholder mapping.
Support / drive excellent stakeholder engagement.
Create detailed plans to ensure the right stakeholders are engaged early, trained and receive timely communications to support a change.
Develop core messaging and assets including engagement decks, FAQs, videos and training assets.
Adapt communication for differing audience (front line needs vs senior leadership needs)
Create and maintain relationships with multiple internal stakeholders ensuring mutual early engagement across impacting business initiatives.
Support Change Champions with key messaging
Demonstrate success and measure ongoing adoption.
Work with the Systems & Transformation Discipline Lead to align engagement activities and ensure standardized deployment of the change management framework.
What you will have:
Experience of utilising different change, communications and engagement disciplines in the context of a coordinated programme, e.g. insight, stakeholder engagement, digital, media
Proven track record of delivering fit for purpose communications across a global community.
Ability and flexibility to manage competing demands and tight deadlines as well as shifts in priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good stakeholder management skills; ability to interface, influence, and work effectively with people at all levels. Confidence to run engagement sessions with key stakeholder groups.
Self-motivation and a high level of individual initiative and self-reliance.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise, experience of agile ways of working.
