CFO – SaaS scaleup

Hybrid working – City office + WFH

£150-160k + bonus + stock options

Talentedge are proud to be working with an exceptionally high-growth and innovative SaaS scaleup based in Central London who are disrupting online learning.

Having increased headcount by 30% over the last 2 months as well expanding internationally, this is an incredibly exciting time to join.

In what is a newly created and first CFO hire, working as a close Business Partner with the CEO/Founder, you will guide the strategic direction of the business, as well as building a best-in-class finance function, capable of supporting this rapidly scaling company.

Key responsibilities to include:

• Design and roll out company-wide SaaS KPI’s and metrics (financial and non-financial)
• Own all budgeting, forecasting, long and short range planning
• Evaluate and drive all future fundraising plans, as well as communicating effectively and regularly on the financial and commercial health of the business to existing and future investors
• Own the company internal and external controlling and reporting
• Work operationally across the business to ensure processes are streamlined and maximizing efficiencies
• Mentor a high performing Finance Manager and in time grow the team further

Profile:

• Strong academic record including being a qualified accountant
• Experienced CFO with rapid-scale tech exposure
• M&A and fundraising experience
• Advanced IT skills with a demonstrable background in digitising finance
• Established business partner who is capable of advising, challenging and influencing senior figureheads, the Board and investors. Equally, someone who is happy being very hands-on and “rolling your sleeves up”
