About the role
As one of our Boost Personal Shoppers, you will work as part of our amazing team to pick and pack groceries for customers, and replenish the stock, in a busy and fast paced business when it's needed the most whilst still retaining the flexibility that you need. This isn’t like any other warehouse job, you’ll be working for one of the fastest growing online businesses in the UK.
There is no need to have any previous experience as you will receive training, but you will need to have a good level of fitness, be able to work in multiple temperatures, from chilled to ambient (minimum 2oC), have a good eye for detail and be able to work independently but also be a good team player.
The Contract & terms
As a Booster you will sign up to a Casual/Zero Hour Contract to join our Ocado Pick & Pack Team. As a Booster you are able to select, from available shifts, hours that work around your schedule, so you can still maintain the work life balance that you need.
You will play a key role in ensuring that we are able to deliver to our customers and you will become a truly valued member of the Ocado family.
Our shifts will cover a variety of hours, days, evenings, nights and weekends and you will be able to select when, and what shifts, you are able to work.
You just need to commit to working at least 1 shift in any 90 day period to ensure that you remain safety compliant and your training does not expire.
You will be working within a safety critical environment and as such, you must be fit to attend work for health and safety reasons./p>
If you are currently working, you will need to ensure that you are complying with the Working Time Directive.
If you are a student please ensure that you are committing to no more than 20 hours per week, whilst in term time. You will be permitted to increase your hours during holiday periods.
