Company Description & What We're Looking For
Core Cider began as a mobile bar selling draught cider and our signature frozen cider slush drinks at music festivals and events across the UK, including Noisily and Deer Shed festivals & Taste of London.
With the Covid-19 pandemic preventing all events, we used the time to rebrand and realign our place in the market. Core Cider is now a B2B & B2C supplier of 330ml cans of sparkling craft medium cider and we are looking to grow this product line, introduce new flavours, and supply kegs for our existing and future business customers.
As we both have additional rather demanding ventures, we are looking for someone to join us as a partner to drive Core Cider forward. Our ideal partner will:
- Have a strong, proven track record of at least 3 years in a B2B and/or B2C sales role (ideally in alcohol) and be able to demonstrate the professional techniques and personal attributes that have made them a successful salesperson - E
- Have marketing experience (online, social media, relevant industry publications etc) E
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have their own vehicle - E
- Be able to commit sufficient time and dedication to the role to achieve results - E
- Live in the South West, ideally Bristol/Somerset - D
- Have some experience in the hospitality sector - D

Part Owner of the Business
- Work from home or at a location
- No set hours
- 25% share in the business after 6 months
- Financial bonus at the end of each year (profit share)
- Utilise our history of organising events and use our infrastructure and contacts to help run the business and grow it
We are looking for someone with a big personality, who knows how to have fun, and shares our passion for events. We are very excited to have someone joining the team. Our friendship actually began through starting Core Cider, so we’re looking for someone who fits right in and helps keep this business fun.
Responsibilities you will be tasked with may include:
- Finding and securing new customers and stockists
- Answering emails
- Managing social media
- Potentially packing orders (depending on location)
- Growing the business
The work is totally flexible and can be done around the successful candidate’s schedule and from wherever they wish. We will be looking to you to achieve goals and hit targets, how much time you need to accomplish these is up to you. You will be self-employed and after a successful period of six months, with all parties happy to proceed, we will assign you a 25% share of the company at no cost to yourself. Terms of this will be discussed at that time and you will be a part-owner of Core Cider. Remuneration will be on a profit share basis, with a likewise financial bonus at the end of the year.
A typical day would be;
- Look for potential customers and potential businesses take on the cider product
- Answering emails
- Managing social media
- Update website
- Do event documentation
- Organise events to trade at
- Invoicing and booking in traders
- Trying to grow the business the have more suppliers of the cider
