The on target earning potential for this role is £39,500 annual / salary - comprising a base salary of £36,500 plus a qualified estimate of £3,000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.
Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
- You’ll be responsible for the implementation and success of our stunning Century Bar offering; using your creativity, you’ll make sure our drinks menu inspires and captivates our guests and your business acumen will ensure these are costed in line with departmental budgets and targets
- Coordinating with our Head of Bars to create marketing strategies based on menu launches, building strong working relationships and fantastic collaborations with our suppliers
- Analysing and owning the monthly P&L report for the Century Bar, identifying opportunities for cost savings and financial improvements; you’ll have a great understanding of stock control and back office systems with responsibility for reporting our stock take results on a weekly basis
- Appreciating consistency is key, you’ll instill this in your team, your standards will be sky high and non-negotiable
- Working closely with your Culinary colleagues to continually surprise and delight our guests and members, curating together a profitable and appealing food offering; proactively seeking and collating feedback from our guests and members, using this to develop and implement improvements in our products and services
- You’ll share your vast knowledge of wine and spirits with your team, developing comprehensive, relevant and inspiring training and tasting programmes
- Adeptly leading and managing your team and making sure our operation is always slick, setting challenging objectives to constantly improve our products and develop our people
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
