- Developing, communicating, and managing project materials, including plans / roadmaps / Steering Committee presentations, identifying key project activities and resourcing needs.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and leading engagement on project management activities including workshops and working groups.
- Managing senior stakeholders across the entire Macquarie Group and proactively communicating with them to ensure direction, scope and progress of the programme is understood and transparent.
- Providing leadership to the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
- Monitoring and reviewing project deliverables, including production, costs, staffing requirements and resources.
- Using your risk mindset to articulate and manage project risks, driving a common understanding amongst stakeholders and effecting appropriate solutions to reduce risk exposure.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A self-starter mindset and a willingness to research new concepts and fill gaps in knowledge.
- Collaborative instincts and excellent interpersonal skills, with a propensity to build strong working relationships at all levels and gain senior stakeholder and wider teams buy-in

- Experience working with front office stakeholders, and/or in environments with strong risk and controls focus.
- A propensity to work efficiently in a geographically dispersed team with global stakeholders.
- Ability to work through periods of ambiguity and communicate complex issues in a straightforward manner will also be important.
- Delivery focused with strong planning skills and the ability to manage, recognise and prioritise deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
Additional desirable capabilities include:
- Experience in a financial institution with exposure to different global regulatory regimes and change initiatives.
