In the Customer Due Diligence & Fraud team, you will find a group of individuals with excellent critical thinking skills, capable of meticulous analysis and a high degree of technical knowhow. If you are the right candidate, you'll be highly process driven with an eye for detail, but flexible enough to think on your feet when you need to.
The primary role of the CDD Analyst is reviewing member accounts and activities for money laundering and safer gambling risk, conducting appropriate intelligent reviews and risk profiling in line with our group compliance commitments.
You'll be responsible for safeguarding our customers and the business by completing and assuring compliance to key/high risk operational processes. You'll be accountable for analysis of accounts, documentation and accurately reviewing and noting accounts. You will not be expected to interact with any customers via the telephone.
The successful candidate will be contracted to 32 hours per week, working 4 x 9 hour shifts between the hours of 9:00-22:00 Monday-Sunday.
So, what will you be doing?
- Using your experience and knowledge of Responsible Gambling and AML to monitor our customers.
- Performing customer due diligence, risk profiling and assessment on member account activities in a timely manner.
- Navigating and managing back-office tools and alerts to complete a variety of safer gambling and AML reviews. This includes life changing event reviews, cool off reviews & customer affordability screening.
- Updating relevant member due diligence, risk profile records and document all findings. Ensuring all member accounts are adequately noted and forward all supporting documentation on cases requiring additional investigation.
- Escalating all suspicious transactions, account activities, EDD and risk profile information requiring further review.
- Running reports and assessments, and analysing trends and activities related to the groups regulatory compliance programme.
And what are we looking for?
- Experience in online gambling in a compliance-based role such as Responsible Gambling, Fraud/Risk, EDD and/or AML
- Possess excellent investigation, risk analysis, assessment, and decision-making skills
- Have the ability to identify risk and escalate matters containing potentially suspicious activities or policy violations.
- Be a critical thinker with a creative problem-solving ability
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to work on own initiative and to provide pragmatic solutions against tight timeframes.
- Have the ability to prioritise, multi-task and to remain calm when working to tight deadlines.
