As the CCTV / Control Room Officer and a member of the Security team, you are responsible for the eyes and ears of the premises, not only from an evidential perspective but also as overwatch for all potential risks and hazards that may occur within the premises. You should be both welcoming and representative of the ‘five-star’ feel to the client we are representing in all interactions.
The Control room officer provides an essential overwatch and support role to the entire site. You are responsible for ensuring all residents, colleagues and visitors feel that they have a professional and secure support team to alert and advise them in times of need. The role is pro-active to prevent incidents escalating and evidential to record and monitor.
You will work on a '4 on 4 off' shift rotations, which will include days, nights and weekends.
What we want
- Valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Licence
- Valid SIA CCTV Licence
- Experience of working in a CCTV Control Room
- Experience of customer service
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for actively monitoring the health safety and welfare of all colleagues on site.
- Acting as liaison with the client in the event of evacuations, liaison with emergency responders.
- Ensuring you are fully conversant with procedures of the site.
- To actively monitor, investigate and escalate where necessary, any fire alarm activations as per site procedures.
- Protection of the information contained within the Control room.
- Responsible for the controls of the goods lifts as and when deliveries are imported/exported, following the correct procedures.
- Following and implementing daily tasks from management.
- Reporting accurately and factually on incidents and accidents.
- To oversee the health, safety and welfare of all visitors and colleagues in the premises, using CCTV.
- To uphold the ‘five-star customer service’.
- To ensure client satisfaction.
- To uphold honesty and integrity in all aspects of the position.
- To offer an exceptional customer service journey and be personable and kind in all interactions.
