The role would involve you being trained on a number of sites across our London portfolio. In return, you will receive highly competitive hourly rates subject to the sites you will work across.

Role:
Working within this flagship building and prestigious environment in Canary Wharf your primary role is to ensure the security of people, premises, and property, protecting the reputation of the client/tenants through availing of the onsite security systems.
As a CCTV Controller, you will supervise all aspects of the client’s/tenant’s security requirements and support the Security Manager in the day-to-day running of the security function.
Further, this position will form a key part in assisting the Security Manager with daily tasks and objectives that need to be adhered to in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level agreements (SLA). Further in the absence of the Site Manager, you may be required to step up as required.
You will support the delivery of a truly exceptional customer journey for both staff and visitors. To achieve this, you will be/become well versed in the processes and practices of a Security Supervisor professional. Excellence in customer service will be at the heart of the role. You will be part of a well-drilled security operation.
To ensure synergy across our service providers, we work with a 'one team' approach to successfully deliver an excellent customer journey so in this role you will work closely with catering, cleaning, maintenance, and Front of House teams in order to provide an environment which is welcoming and relaxed yet safe and secure at all times.
Responsibilities:

- Ensure all contact, be it internal or external; by telephone, face-to-face or any other medium; is clear, courteous, polite, professional, and respectful
- Ensure complete client/tenant/other service provider confidentiality; protecting people and information is paramount
- Where applicable: appropriate use of CCTV/access cotrol ancontrolother electronic management system, and completion of reports and documentation in a timely fashion
- All Assignment Instructions / Operations Manual or Standard Operating Procedures are to be reviewed, understood, and followed
- Embrace ad deliver the bespoke training requirements, specific to contractual obligations or regulation
- Completion of rostered duties and all associated tasks or responsibilities to the highest possible standard
- Esure that all Health and Safety and Environmental procedures are followed and do not undertake any activity which could breach the SIA, GDPR or other relevant regulations
Security CCTV Controller duties:
Working within a busy control room environment, you will be monitoring access control, CCTV, fire detection alarm systems and providing effective reporting to the wider security team and relevant third parties stakeholders
- Provide a highly visible proactive security approach with emphasis o access and egress controls.
- To operate iternal / external security CCTV systems on a regular basis ensuring familiarity of site layout, building and GDPR processes.
- Upkeep of key asset trackig and other administrative tasks pertaining to the security control room and workload activities - archiving daily paperwork, clear reporting writing, ID card management, IT movement, records, etc.
- To play a integral role in any emergency including evacuation, dealing with antisocial behaviour, first aid incidents (or assistance to trained first-aiders)
- To prevent loss, damage, and theft of assets by carrying out regular camera Patrols
Essential Skills CCTV Controller
- Valid SIA SG/DS licece
- CCTV Licece
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
- Surveillance and access control system knowledge
- Excellent Communication Skills.
