The role

Source catering are looking for a hospitality professional to take the role of Catering Supervisor within the halls of catering.

The role looks after the day-to-day operation of the catered halls of residence within the University from breakfast and dinner service to health and safety and supervising the team on site.

The role oversees a team of several general assistants and requires an organised and service focussed person that has attention to detail and good organisational skills.

The role over sees the completion of temperature records, collating staff hours, inducting new staff members and working with the assistant cluster managers to ensure that rotas are completed in line with the business needs.

What will you be doing?

The Successful candidate will focus on leading the front of house catering team and working with the back of house team to ensure a smooth service within the catered halls of residence.

The role oversees the completion of the front of house food safety forms and liaises with the head chef to place orders for any required food items. Supervisors also over see the completion of the end of day reports from the tills and ensures that all relevant paperwork is completed.

Working with the assistant cluster manager the successful candidate also has direct input on the rota and helps to ensure that all positions are filled correctly
