Catering Manager Strathclyde
Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Catering Manager at Sky, Glasgow.
Location: Sky - Glasgow, Scotland
Rate of pay: £30,850 per annum
Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Food and Service Development
- Ensure that the client expectations of food and food service are consistently delivered and measured and are in line with the G&G brand.
- Set clear expectations to all staff regarding food and service standards to ensure that all services provided are of the highest standards.
- Continual review of the service and food provided in the site, providing feedback to the team and ensuring any necessary changes are incorporated into the service provision.
Relationship Management
- Develop and sustain strong working relationships with the relevant clients at the individual business.
- Be the first point of reference for all client comments and concerns and take any necessary action.
- Actively gain customer feedback and to use the information to improve the offering at any given business.
Finance
- Ensure the site achieves the financial targets agreed with the client in line with the budget.
- Understand and interpret the relevant financial control systems and use the information to measure performance and achieve all targets.
Managing/Developing a Team
- Ensure all staff carry out tasks in accordance with company health, hygiene, quality and safety standards as set out in the appropriate G&G manual.
- Ensure induction, initial skills and on the job training is provided for all Front of House staff to ensure the service is delivered in line with client expectations and G&G standards.
- Provide feedback to any member of staff ensuring that all team members are aware of G&G standards and requirements and carry out their jobs to the best of their ability in a timely and efficient manner.
Health & Safety
- To keep up to date with all COSHH and HACCP procedures and methods.
- Ensure all employees adhere to uniform standards.
Occasional Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for personal development looking for opportunities to expand knowledge of industry trends in food and food service, leadership and management practices.
- To attend training courses and attend G&G meetings when necessary.
