TEIGNMOUTH GOLF CLUB - JOB DESCRIPTION
BAR AND CATERING ASSISTANT 20 - 40 HOURS PER WEEK
Responsible To: Front of House Manager
Responsible For: The serving of alcoholic drinks, beverages and food at the Club in a friendly and efficient manner. Key Holder. Opening and Closing shifts
Main Duties:
- To serve drinks from the bar efficiently and to offer table service if time allows.
- To deliver food orders from the kitchen to bar, lounge or dining room.
- To help ensure that bar stocks are maintained
- To check that deliveries of stock agree to purchase orders.
- To ensure that all cash is handed in to the office for safekeeping, that tills are operated correctly and takings balanced daily.
- To keep records of wastage and stock loss.
- To ensure that the bar, dining room and lounge areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- To maintain the quality of bar and dining room equipment and advising when additional or replacement items are required.
- To set and report any defects in alarm and security systems operated by the Club.
- To report promptly any problems, damage or repairs requiring attention.
- To carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required.
Must be 18 years old
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 - 40 per week
Salary: £8.33-£11.00 per hour
