Job Title: Relief Catering Assistant
Trust: Tameside and Glossop Integrated NHS Foundation Trust
Location: Tameside General Hospital
Band/Pay rate: Band 2 £11.45 per hour
Contract: NHSP Bank
Hours / Shifts: 22.5hrs/week. Shifts between 6am and 8:30pm
We have an ongoing placement opportunity available for a Catering Assistant at Tameside General Hospital
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Candidates will work as part of the catering team which plates up all the patients’ meals
- Washing the returning food trolleys, crockery, and cutlery.
- Any general cleaning that is needed.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
- Experience in a similar role
- Food Safety L2 (desirable)
