Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for committed and passionate Catering Assistant to join our busy front of house team catering team who support breakfast, lunch and supper service, as well as for functions, during Term Time with some limited non term time working.


Our catering team are friendly & approachable with a “can-do” attitude, motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery. As a flexible team player, with excellent communication skills, your working style will support and enhance this ethos.

Experience & Background

  • No experience is necessary as full training is given
  • A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is helpful but not essential
  • Experience of working in a customer service role is advantageous


High personal hygiene standards and a smart and tidy appearance is imperative to this role.


Duties

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing & servicing the dining room areas
  • Working to high standards of cleanliness and basic food hygiene
  • Being an ambassador for the catering ensuring a welcoming and friendly image is projected at all times

Position available:

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 5:00pm to 7:45pm for 33 weeks per annum (term time only).

£9.88 per hour

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job candidates to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are \"spent\" unless they are \"protected\" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
