To assist with the preparation and service of all foods including raw ingredients required for staff and visitor food services. To ensure that all foods are produced and served in a safe and hygienic manner at all times.

Ensure all stock levels are controlled and rotation procedures are maintained
Practice strict portion control and identify an excess of waste or shortages of food to a Supervisor
Ensure all foods are displayed and served according to the food service plan for each area.
Replenish all contents and maintain stocks.
Ensure sell by dates and good stock rotation methods are adhered to
Observe correct use and care of equipment reporting any defects or faults in accordance with company procedures
Carry out cash handing in accordance with company procedures
Clean and load vending equipment, general equipment used in meal service and the environment.
Ensure all food and beverage dispensing outlets are in good working order and that routine cleansing and maintenance schedules are performed
Assist with materials requisitioning procedures
Clear and clean tables and wash up crockery and production materials as requested by the supervisor
Ensure the dining areas are maintained according to the room layout plan and hygiene management schedules
