We are opening a vacancy at both our salons for a Level 2 Dog Grooming Apprenticeship.

We are excited to announce that we have a new vacancy for this position. This is for an assistant groomer role, not a trainee groomer role, after completion it can lead to a trainee groomer role.

We are looking for our newest member of the team to join Spoilt Rotten as an Apprentice.

The right candidate will be: -
� Be an absolute dog lover (essential)
� Have experience of caring for dogs ie. owning/ walking etc.
� Hard working- this job can be physically demanding with a lot of lifting and carrying.
� Reliable
� Have a 'can do' positive attitude
� Have work experience being part of a team (not essential)
� No previous qualifications required, all training is given on the job

The role will include bathing, drying, brushing and prepping dogs ready for grooming. Serving and assisting customers. Answering the busy phones. General day to day cleaning of the salon and shop. Assisting the stylists. Organising the shop displays and unpacking orders amongst other cleaning, animal care, customer service, admin related tasks.

FULL TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN

This role is an Apprenticeship, full time, including Saturdays. Holiday is provided and uniform.

Working within our team is highly rewarding but is physically demanding, we work efficiently and effectively and are looking for our next reliable team player.

Following completion of the Apprenticeship you will achieve a recognised qualification, Level 2 Dog Grooming.

This is a 12 month Apprenticeship which leads to a permanent full time position within Spoilt Rotten after the Apprenticeship finishes. There will be options to continue in your role or even to become a Trainee Stylist within Spoilt Rotten.

Hourly rate £4.81/ 40 hours a week, 20 days annual holiday
