The Catering & Hospitality Unit which is based at Sedgley Park are looking for a Catering Assistant, to provide a service to our staff and students from GMP and other forces both British and international serving, breakfast, lunch, dinner each day along with special catering request for functions including weddings and other celebrations at weekends and evenings.
The successful candidate will assist with the preparation and service of food and beverage during service hours maintaining a high level of service. You will undertake simple cooking tasks when required, assist in preparing, delivering and serving hospitality to various buildings around the site. (training will be given in the use of techniques, procedures, policies and the safe handling of equipment and materials).
It is essential to the role that you are fit to carry out duties that involve lifting, carrying, loading, unloading and handling equipment materials. You will be responsible for the cleaning of work areas including floors, equipment, dining areas and all associated areas to ensure that cleanliness is maintained at all times.
