Administrator
Health & Safety department
Permanent vacancy – Part time (15 to 24 hours per week considered)
£19,196 per annum

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our well established, team of 3 within the Health & Safety department. The team works closely with all departments within the College, ensuring the welfare of our students and staff is at the forefront of all activity.

Main duties include:

  • Maintain databases and spreadsheets, with accurate and timely data
  • Record accidents and investigations, keeping a history of ‘near misses’ to ensure practicable actions are put in place to prevent future incidents
  • Support with audits for work placements
  • Respond to general H&S queries
  • Inputting orders on the internal finance system
  • Collate accident statistics for Department Leads
  • Take accurate minutes at H&S Committee meetings
  • Collate the business continuity and disaster recovery plan
  • Monitor and follow up fire risk assessments
  • Manage Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans
  • Order and distribute first aid supplies
  • Help to organise occupational health checks
