Administrator
Health & Safety department
Permanent vacancy – Part time (15 to 24 hours per week considered)
£19,196 per annum
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our well established, team of 3 within the Health & Safety department. The team works closely with all departments within the College, ensuring the welfare of our students and staff is at the forefront of all activity.
Main duties include:
- Maintain databases and spreadsheets, with accurate and timely data
- Record accidents and investigations, keeping a history of ‘near misses’ to ensure practicable actions are put in place to prevent future incidents
- Support with audits for work placements
- Respond to general H&S queries
- Inputting orders on the internal finance system
- Collate accident statistics for Department Leads
- Take accurate minutes at H&S Committee meetings
- Collate the business continuity and disaster recovery plan
- Monitor and follow up fire risk assessments
- Manage Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans
- Order and distribute first aid supplies
- Help to organise occupational health checks
