Job description

Role: Catering Assistant

Location: The Harley Street Clinic
Shifts: Flexible shift patterns to suit you, between Monday and Sunday, 6:30am to 10pm

Salary: £12.01p + excellent benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits package plus career development)

Those who care for patients need looking after too.

From preparing meals to creating counter displays, you’ll help us create and serve food that’s every bit as fresh, eye-opening and enticing as those served by the best hotels and restaurants.

This is a chance to get great catering experience while enjoying the kind of benefits few commercial outlets are able to provide. But it’s also a chance to brighten up the day for people who really need it. Perhaps you’ll deliver the food, service and experience that can really help people on the road to recovery. Or provide much-needed fuel for our colleagues as they deliver exceptional care. Or offer a comforting meal to visitors when they’re at their most vulnerable. Whatever you do, your work will have a big impact.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll be both professional and friendly – someone who’s completely focused on customer service, with a can-do attitude. As well as this you’ll:

  • be aware of food and hygiene standards
  • be passionate about customer care
  • be able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and healthcare staff
  • be able to work under pressure, and with a flexible approach

What you’ll get in return

In return, you can expect real career progression. We invest in our people, celebrate individuality, and reward and recognise employees who go ‘beyond the plate’. As well as a competitive salary, unrivalled career development and shifts that can help you achieve a better work/life balance, you’ll also enjoy:

  • medical insurance, including critical illness cover, dental insurance and life assurance
  • contributory pension
  • subsidised Gymflex membership
  • GP health assessment, plus private face to face and digital GP services
  • the option to buy or sell holidays
  • access to Portland Maternity Services

Plus a host of other perks and benefits, including travel Insurance, season ticket loans, the cycle to work scheme – and even free Taste and Gourmet Society cards.
