Part Time Hotel Receptionist
We are a 4* privately owned Hotel on the outskirts of Swindon with 108 bedrooms, 3 Bars, 2 Restaurants, extensive Conference & Banqueting facilities, Leisure Club & Secrets Beauty & Spa.
We are a busy venue with corporate delegates, leisure guests, celebrations events, Christmas Parties and much more. We are currently looking for a Part Time Receptionist to join our team.
You must be of smart professional appearance and attitude, be polite, friendly and able to offer excellent customer service at all times.
Duties will include:-
- welcome and greet guests
- answer and direct incoming calls
- inform guests of hotel rates and services
- make and confirm reservations for guests
- ensure proper room allocation
- check guests in/out
- confirm relevant guest information
- verify guest's payment method
- verify credit cards for authorization
- issue room keys and direct guests to their rooms
- compute all guest billings, accurately post charges to guest rooms and house accounts
- listen and respond to guest queries and requests both in-person and by phone
- provide accurate information about local attractions and services
- liaise with necessary staff including housekeeping and maintenance to address any problems raised by guests
You will need to be flexible to work 3-4 shifts per week over 7 days, including weekends and hours of work include 7am - 3pm, 10am - 6pm, 3pm - 11pm, 12 - 8pm
The successful applicant for this role will deliver excellent customer service, have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, Must be confident, good communicator, friendly, approachable and hardworking.
Previous Hotel experience is preferred for this role.
