We are currently recruiting a Category Merchandiser whose focus will be on translating Lovehoney Group’s merchandising strategies into regional merchandising plans that deliver the global growth objectives of the company for the category.
What you will do
- Shape and adapt product assortment to meet the requirements of the regional business plans. Continually monitor range performance with Buyers, carrying out bi-annual reviews of individual SKUs and the product lifecycle management.
- Engage with Online Trading and Insights teams to deliver & action promotional propositions that meet the needs of the customer while delivering planned revenue and margin KPIs.
- Analyse trading performance to identify trends and opportunities to drive revenue with Online Trading and (via) buying team and New Product Development suggestions.
- Ownership of category WSSI, reforecasting sales, intake, markdown, profit and stock holding for both own brand and 3rd party.
- Assist with the forecasting of new product introductions highlighting the stock turn risk versus MOQ.
- Line manage regional Stock Allocator and Assistant Merchandiser.
What you should bring
- Analytical with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- 5+ years merchandising/category management/demand planning experience.
- Extremely adaptable and organised; used to working in a fast paced environment where juggling several and ever-changing priorities is a challenge you thrive on.
- Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
