At Virgin Management Limited, we work alongside all the different Virgin companies and their teams around the world, from travel & leisure, health & wellness, music & entertainment, telecoms & media, financial services and space. Our team of circa 400 colleagues across two offices in London and New York includes Virgin Red, our loyalty team that rewards our customers for living a life more Virgin, Virgin Unite, the entrepreneurial foundation of the Virgin Group, and Virgin Start Up, the not-for-profit organisation that delivers government backed loans, mentoring and support to unique entrepreneurs across the UK.
The role:
This role’s a first for us – we’re investing in our future HR technology ecosystem and people data, and this role will own our roadmap for the future to unlock maximum value from our investment, and to digitise our people experience. Naturally, it’ll also be our resident systems specialist, starting with our new HRIS and ATS, and will lead and ignite us to think about what’s possible with great work tech.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as our external thought leader on people systems innovation, sharing insights, trends and tangible experiments back with the internal team and wider Virgin Companies on the future of work technology
- Define and deliver the people ecosystem roadmap of change, including future release management, business driven change and UX optimisation.
- Ensure people processes and ways of working are designed for the end user first, driving (and optimising) automation and self-service where possible.
- Lead the development, delivery, automation and ongoing enhancement of people analytics, insights and reporting for key stakeholder groups.
- Lead the implementation and configuration of any new modules or systems, including decommissioning legacy parts of the ecosystem.
- Champion data-led decision making in relation to our people at all levels in the organisation.
- Collaborate on key people projects to create requirements and recommend solutions, including market mapping and prototyping.
- On behalf of the team, govern and secure our people data, system integrity and all associated applications.
- Make sure data and technology implications are included in key people decision making, recommending approaches and adjustments that enhance delivery and experience.
For this role we need you to be/have experience of:
- Owning a SaaS, highly flexible HR technology ecosystem.
- Designing and optimizing digital people processes for progressive or ambitious organisations that prioritise the people experience.
- Embedding technology change, such as new functionality or systems.
- Influencing and provoking discussion at a senior level using insights
- Strategic mindset to shape future approaches and plans.
- Skilled superuser for HRIS or ATS systems such as Hi-Bob, Workable and/or Peakon desirable, but not essential.
- You may come from a People Partner, HR Advisor or alike role, where you have had a strong focus on HR Systems or Recruitment Systems
Are you ready to join a brand that’s passionate about dreaming big and changing business for good?
