It is anticipated that a hybrid working pattern can be adopted for this role, where the successful candidate can work from home and the office. However, as this role is contractually aligned to our Milton Keynes office it is expected that some attendance in the office will be required when necessary and in response to business needs. We’d expect this to be at least once a month.

Academic Services is a large and complex operational student-facing unit, with about 1,200 staff (located across Milton Keynes, Nottingham and Manchester) and a substantial budget.
The role
We are looking for a highly motivated professional with an outstanding analytical background, a strong communicator with great stakeholder management skills, to provide analytical support to Academic Services and contribute to the overall success of the Unit.
Projects are very diverse, ranging from recommendations on operational improvements to assessing data needs of the Unit or making recommendations on HR processes.
Skills and experience
- Do you have strong data manipulation and analysis skills – can you analyse large complex datasets to create clear business insight?
- Are you comfortable engaging with stakeholders to understand and address their business, reporting and analysis requirements?
- Can you tell simple and persuasive stories with data, presenting complex data in an impactful way for technical as well as non-technical audiences?
- Do you thrive in a multi-functional team environment where collaboration with other analysts, relationship managers and subject matter experts is key to success?
- Have you got the drive to make things better and learn new skills?
