You will work in a vibrant category team in a dynamic business environment to uncover pockets of growth through mining multiples sources of data, turning it into actionable insights and translating complex analytics into business opportunities.
You will be the Analytics & Insights Managers of a category team, advising a Senior Director who manages a multimillion-dollar business. By partnering with them you’ll have the opportunity to learn the very best commercial strategies and how to active advanced analytics in a business context.
You will report to the P&G Analytics & Insights team, with Growth Analysts, Data Scientists and CMKs (Consumer and Market Knowledge). We will empower you with the very best algorithms, data technologies as well as market research. You will have the opportunity to step-change how we use analytics to drive our business.
In this role you will:
Identify and activate category and retailer growth opportunities using assortment, pricing, geo-location, shelf, promotion, and media analytics
Understand category, retailer, and media data deeply with P&G’s and retailers’ goals and strategies to develop insights to “C Suite” level (Category Director and above)
Work closely with various functions such as brand, sales and finance within a team environment to commit and deliver same business goals
Be a trusted advisory for stakeholders and make solid recommendations through presentations
Lead data democratisation and seamless data flow within the team via leveraging data wrangling, visualisation, and reporting techniques
Leverage advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to transform and facilitate decision making processes
Combine soft skills with analytical skills and use integrative thinking to turn data findings into action
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree graduate in any discipline
Strong analytical capability and curiosity to work with various data sets
Curiosity to generating insights from statistics, data analytics & algorithms with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong presentation and communication skills with clear message tracks
Evidence of passion, leadership and achievements in academic and/or non-academic activities
Excellent in data ELT – extract, transform and load, advanced analytics (descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive)
Good at machine learning algorithms: KNIME, Python, or similar
Excellent in data visualisaton: PowerBI, Tableau or similar
Ability to collaborate effectively, be a team-player and work with various functions/teams
