Job description
This role is responsible for the Fleet procurement category and is to work closely with the Head of Fleet to ensure contract compliance and achieve maximum value for money for this category. This will include purchasing of vehicles, vehicle parts and related services.
To lead a specific strategic sourcing programme for the Fleet category across the Trust and contributing significantly to the delivery of allocated procurement projects within the fleet market
To support the Head of Procurement in the delivery of cost and efficiency savings across Fleet and associated areas, by analysing current spend profiles and develop appropriate procurement strategies.
To ensure contract compliance across the category, pursuing procurement excellence through the implementation of efficient and effective procurement project within key markets
To meet customer requirements by demonstrating best value for money, through compliance with category priorities and contracts, and by actively managing the market place through the development of key strategies for supplier and contract management
Working with the Head of Fleet and his senior team to provide input into
projects and departmental objectives
