The role
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing large data sets, developing insights and recommendations, and providing strategic guidance to our stable of advertising and media clients. You will also work closely with our product, engineering, and sales teams to drive revenue growth through the development of new products and services.
Who we're looking for
You should definitely have:
- At least 5 years of experience in a research or insights role, preferably in a client-facing capacity
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as statistics, data science, neuroscience, market research, or social sciences; Master's degree preferred
- Excellent communication (written, verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience conducting both quantitative and qualitative research
- Experience leading research projects and managing data collection and analysis
- Strong client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Proficiency in relevant research and data analysis tools and technologies, such as SPSS, R, and Excel
- Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and predictive analytics a plus.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques a plus
- Passion for inclusive advertising a definite plus
- Knowledge of the following:
- Key principles and laws of effective marketing (Ehrenberg-Bass, Binet and Field)
- Methods of evaluating content and advertising effectiveness (econometrics, attribution, etc)
- Trends in advertising and media
What you'll be doing
- Analyze large data sets to develop insights and recommendations that drive advertising and media performance and revenue growth for our clients.
- Work closely with our product and engineering teams to develop and solutions for our large brand customers.
- Collaborate with sales and account management teams to identify new revenue opportunities and develop strategic client proposals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and inform product development and positioning.
- Provide thought leadership on advertising technology and insights trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Conduct research and analysis on a range of topics to support our clients' needs
- Lead research projects from start to finish, including designing research plans, managing data collection, and analyzing results
- Communicate research findings and insights to clients through clear and compelling presentations and reports
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted adviser on research and insights
- Mentor and train junior analysts, providing guidance and support as needed
