We are currently looking for a new Branch Manager for our flagship new Cat Cafe,
Java Whiskers White City, at Westfield London.
About Us
Java Whiskers is a Swedish founded Cat Café (the first of its kind in London).
Our mission is to rehome rescue cats, whilst delivering a unique experience for our feline-loving guests. We wish to be a relaxing haven supporting the well-being of both cats and humans, and we want all customers to leave wanting more cat cuddles and delicious Fika! (that’s Swedish and means the enjoyment of having a coffee and a treat).

Job Description
We are looking for a problem-solver and brilliant communicator, who is able to prioritize and delegate, but is a team player at heart. To us, it’s very important that you understand the nature of hospitality and are brilliant at handling stressful situations, in a calm manner.
We are looking for someone who lives our values and meets the goals of our four pillars; guest experience, cat presence and well-being, staff satisfaction and branch profitability.
Your main responsibilities would be:
- Managing day-to-day operations of the cafe.
- Delivery of exceptional customer service, going above and beyond for guests.
- Ordering supplies, recruiting staff, training, team development, coaching, sales and miscellaneous reports.
- Ensuring the well-being and development of the cats, working together with the Cat Manager to develop and refine processes.
- Be responsible for your team, ensuring your branch is following company guidelines and living the Java Whiskers core pillars/values: guest experience, cat presence and wellbeing, staff satisfaction and branch profitability.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a leadership position and/or hospitality is necessary.
- Previous barista training and experience working with animals is a plus, but not a requirement.
