Kiddi Caru in Walnut Tree, part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for a Casual Nursery Worker to join our team. Youll be working hard to care for, support and meet the needs of our children.

The nursery is on one level with all play rooms having free flow to the garden. The staff room is based within a lovely garden room to give the staff a relaxing break, where there is many staff well being supports from the stocked trolley of treats and goodies to special treats on events days. The nursery is based behind the local centre on walnut tree which has accesses from many bus routes.

What will you be doing:

• Provide a positive practice role model to ensure that The Childcare Corporation values are maintained
• Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is afforded to all staff, parents and children
• Supervise and support children at all times
• Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment
• Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners
• Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices
• Ensure that any changes to policies, procedures and operational practices are adhered to within the required timescale
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation stage
• Notify your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures and operational practices
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors and work colleagues
• Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained
• Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required
