About the Team:
The Chelsea FC Stadium Tour and Museum is one of the most visited sports attractions in the UK. Since its inception in 1999, millions of fans from all over the world have experienced the behind-the-scenes tour of Stamford Bridge and its award-winning museum.
Tours depart daily from 10am – 3pm except for certain home matchdays. The tour and museum is open 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.
The tour and museum department – which is part of the wider merchandise department that sits in the commercial division of the club – employs around 80 team members with a combination of full-time, part-time and casual roles.
What We’re Looking For:
Outstanding public speakers/communicators who are passionate about guest experience to conduct stadium tours and assist with operational aspects of the Stadium Tour and Museum product including selling/printing tickets and photographs.
Must Haves/qualified by demonstratable experience to the level required:
- Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in either public speaking, being a tour guide or working in a leisure related experience.
- Able to work on weekends, bank holidays and peak periods (e.g. school holidays)
- Good understanding of basic IT systems.
Nice to Haves:
- Knowledge of Chelsea FC history
- Multilingual desirable.
- Understanding of the Leisure and Tourism industry.
- Experience working within Travel and Tourism industry.
