What is the role?
The purpose of this role is to actively film and edit footage that will be used across Saints Foundation’s social media channels, various digital platforms and at charity events to help tell the story of Saints Foundation’s work in the community.
What are we looking for?
To thrive in this role, you will need to be flexible with working hours and have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate with clients effectively about their requirements in order to produce top quality content. You will have previous experience with video editing software and are able to produce a portfolio of your previous work. The ideal candidate will have a positive, can do attitude and be a good representation of Saints Foundation.
We require the successful candidate to have access to video editing software as unfortunately we are unable to provide this ourselves.
The competencies which are required include:
Essential Experience:
  • A portfolio of high quality video footage
  • A strong understanding of storytelling
Desirable Experience:
  • Some past experience of filming within charity or sport
Essential Qualifications (including certifications):
  • Working towards a degree in video production (or equivalent qualification), or at least one year’s worth of professional experience producing video content
Desirable Qualifications (including certifications):
  • A degree in video production
Essential Skills:
  • Experience using Sony camcorders (or similar)
  • Experience in handling video briefs and proactively working with clients to outline a clear production plan
  • Experience in Final Cut Pro or similar editing software
  • Exceptional people skills with experience in developing creative ideas alongside a client
  • Good time management skills
  • Positive approach with a hardworking ethic
  • Flexible in terms of working hours
