Casual Night Porter Nottingham, England
Job description
As a night porter your responsibilities will be:
- Handle guests incidents, complaints and coordinate service recovery where required in conjunction with the Manager.
- Conference Banqueting set up, maintenance and cleaning.
- Identifying, communicating all issues (maintenance, equipment, etc)
- Following company control procedures in accordance with the internal audit requirements.
- Confidently know all emergency procedures, full knowledge of the fire manual.
- Working in partnership with the Night Manager to ensure all Nights Department objectives are fulfilled.
- Close daily business and secure property
- Prepare hotel for new day – Particular attention to detail on cleanliness and presentation is vital.
- Aid all departments while on shift – knowledge of bar restaurant would be beneficial.
Experience we are looking for:
- Must have previous experience in a similar role and demonstrated business / industry awareness.
- Possess a high standard of customer service delivery skills.
- Be standards driven and detail-orientated with the ability to organise and plan ahead.
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
