Casual kennel assistant wanted for busy kennels.
Be able to commit to 1 to 6 days per week to include weekends.
Start date: 1st May 2023 - Contract Ends: 30 September 2023
Hours 7.30 am - 5.00 pm (8.5 Hours per day) Meeting national minimum wage.
The role will include caring for dogs, cats and small animals this will include - walking dogs, feeding, cleaning, administering medication if needed, welcoming customers to the kennels, answering phone calls, taking bookings and overseeing drop off and collections.
You must be flexible and available weekdays and weekends.
Must be confident with dogs, cats and smaller animals. Previous experience working with animals and knowledge of animal welfare is essential for us to consider you as an ideal candidate.
We are looking for someone who is hard working, reliable, punctual, can work independently and as a team, a can do attitude, not scared to get stuck in to any task, confident with people, a good communicator, organised person, can follow structures and routines and is committed to the job.
Please note we can only accept applicants from the age of 16 or over.
The applicant must;

- Must be able to drive as the kennels is situated in a rural area.
