The Landmark is located within the iconic Grade II Listed former Burnley Grammar School Building, nestled in the centre of the town. With two large events spaces both with licensed bars we are looking to build a team of casual staff to call upon as our events calendar grows.
We are looking for highly organized candidates with excellent interpersonal skills. Event staff are responsible for working under the instruction of the Events Manager. Event staff will need to be constantly on their feet attending to the many needs of event-goers, this requires physical stamina and high energy levels.
Responsibilities – Accountabilities
· Unloading equipment and setting up for events.
· Working as ushers and ensuring seating arrangements are adhered to.
· Ensuring the event hall is clean and organised.
· Ensuring excellent levels of customer service.
· Serving food and drinks in a professional manner.
· Packing up equipment when the event is complete.
Skills – Knowledge – Experience
· Outstanding organisational skills.
· Diligence and attention to detail.
· friendly demeanour and excellent verbal communication.
· Physical stamina and high energy levels.
· The ability to perform under stress and good problem-solving skills.
· Previous bar experience would be beneficial but not required.
Rate of pay will be dependant on age and experience, shifts offered on a first come basis.
Reliability is the most important aspect of this role, any shifts agreed to and not attended without prior warning or discussion will result in removal from future consideration.
