We are currently hiring casual Event Crew to join us for the British Silverstone F1 Grand Prix and it doesn’t stop there! We would love for you to join us at our other events including the popular Spa F1 Grand Prix, Silverstone MotoGP and the BRAND NEW Silverstone Festival!

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for enthusiastic, outgoing, hardworking people to come and join our team from the Silverstone weekend and being able to work at some of our other events during the season!
Every day is different at IntentsGP, from greeting people on reception to erecting tents, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have an unforgettable stay!
From set up, to pack down you will have a positive can do attitude. You will ideally have had experience working in large teams of peers with a good level of communication to accomplish set tasks. We are looking for individuals who can take the initiative to satisfy customer needs and to handle snagging issues as they arise. A positive, enthusiastic, helpful attitude is essential and are core values at IntentsGP. You must be flexible to change and adaptable to assist in the completion of a variety of tasks in order to meet customer demand and be able to work long days comfortably. This role contains heavy lifting and long periods of physical activity during the shift including carrying kit around the site during the set up and pack down days, therefore good levels of fitness are expected. You must enjoy working in an outdoor environment, be prepared to work in all weathers and have a good laugh along the way!
Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Erecting tents, cleaning tents and dressing tents with the correct kit, attention to detail is paramount.
· Managing reception which involves greeting guests, managing the camp site shop, helping with guest & visitor queries, checking-in guests, and showing them to their accommodation.
· Cleaning and managing communal spaces such as marques, staff areas, tea and coffee station, toilets and showers to ensure they’re clean and replenished with consumable materials.
· Packing down the event kit in an orderly, coordinated manner into allocated and marked storage containers and/or vehicles.

Desirable:
· Experience In dealing with customers ideally in a hospitality or events setting where pressure and time restrictions are applied.
· Hold a valid UK driving licence.
· Experience working in large diverse teams of all age ranges.
· Experience putting up tents e.g Scouts/ Duke of Edinburgh.
· Certification for First Aid Training or Fire Marshal Training.
· Hold a valid security licence (SIA).
· Be flexible to work rostered early morning shifts and night shifts.
Essential:
· You must be available to start at 9am on the 3rd July 2023.
· The ability to speak, read and write the English Language fluently.
· You must be able to be away from home for longer periods of times at certain events where we work outside of the UK. Belgium F1 (Up to 10 days).
· Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time comfortably and be able to lift 20KG< frequently.
· You must already have the legal right to work in the UK and be able to provide supporting documentation and information, where and when required.
· Applicants must be over the school leaving age.
· Experience working outdoors in different weather conditions and not put off by a bit of rain!
