Primary Purpose of the Role:
To complete the weekly Cashiers administration tasks in accordance with the SLA’s time lines.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Responsible for responding to TBSS requests for cheque payments
Write the cheque
Acquire the UK Bank signatures
Send the cheques
Bank any Cheques & payments
Open the post received in to Finance sort, distribute and scan any items to TBSS Portugal
Barclays – Daily Administration Tasks
Adhoc AR remits
Run and save the Bank statements as required
To ensure all cash and bank activities are performed as required, on time and inline with the agreed SLA/OLA, across multi THALES operating units.
Responsible for the processing & reconciliation of cash & bank transactions (GBP & Currency) within strict daily deadlines
Ensure that all multi-currency payments are processed according to the timetable
Ensure all cash related balance sheet reconciliation’s are performed and cleared in accordance to monthly deadlines
Investigate & resolve cash & bank queries
Work with UK Treasury dept to input daily payments and answer any queries
Ensure all bank accounts are re-valued according to corporate policy.
Ensure all balance Sheet reconciliation’s of bank account to GL balances are performed according to the timetable.
T&E Applications Administration
Adhoc tasks as requested

Performance and progress is measured and tracked as part of the AAD process, using SMART objectives specific to each team member.

Experience:
Essential
3 - 5 year’s experience in a Finance role preferably in a large complex organisation
Working knowledge of Accounting, Payables, Cashiers and Receivables Finance functions.
