Kirkley Run S/Stn is looking for a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers with precision and enthusiasm. cashier duties include receiving payments and issuing receipts, giving change, selling tickets, using point-of-sale systems and other business tools. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how to use cash register. You should be available to work various shifts, including weekends. Ultimately, you’ll ensure there’s a good experience for all customers.

Job Type: Part Time 12- 16 Hours Per week

Full training given to enable staff member to safely operate Petrol filling station including age related sales.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• TO SELL THE GARAGE MERCHANDISE AND SERVICES;PROVIDING AN EFFICIENT AND COURTEOUS SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS IN LINE WITH GARAGE POLICY.
• TO CARRY OUT ROUTINE DUTIES AS REQUIRED BY THE GARAGE MANAGER.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO PROMOTE AND MAINTAIN THE GARAGE’S IMAGE AND GOOD REPUTATION BY A VERY HIGH STANDARD OF SERVICE PERSONAL CONDUCT AND

• TO COMPLY WITH GARAGE RULES AND PROCEDURES CONCERNING THE SECURITY OF STOCK, CASH & EQUIPMENT.
• TO ASSIST WITH THE CLEANING & GENERAL GOOD HOUSEKEEPING OF THE SHOP AND DISPLAYS
• TO OBSERVE GARAGE SAFETY REGS AND TO REPORT ANY HAZARD OR INCIDENT TO THE GARAGE MANAGER.
• TO ENSURE THAT STATEMENTS MADE TO CUSTOMERS ARE ACCURATE AND COMPLY WITH THE LAW.
• TO COMPLY WITH ALL MANAGEMENT POLICIES, RULES, DIRECTIVES, INSTRUCTIONS & ANY OTHER COMMUNICATION MADE IN THE INTERESTS OF THE GARAGE BUSINESS.

Holidays accrued on a monthly basis & entitlement is 5.6 weeks based on contracted working week
