Job description

Hook & Reel, seeks Cashier/Host for our West Orange location. Must have an availability to work evenings and weekends.

The Cashier is responsible for:

• Know the Menu
• Taking Phone and Walk-in Orders
• Input the Online Orders
• Handle Cash Payment

The Host is responsible for:

• Welcome and Seat all Guests
• Speak clearly and positively
• Take names for waiting lists
• Clean and Organize all menus at the host stand
• Answer phone calls regarding questions on the restaurant and menus
• Interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience
• Taking walking and Phone Orders
• Cash handling

Prior experience with a restaurant concept a plus!

• Hospitable

• Must be punctual with scheduled shifts.

• Must be able to effectively communicate with team members and guests.

• Will be required to work a flexible schedule.

• Ability to stand for an extended period of time.

• Ability to lift 20 pounds
