Job description
As a cashier, you are the last person to have contact with the customer. This role is key to ensuring the customer has had an exceptional shopping experience.

Summary of the position:
**** Please note, this is a permanent position, not seasonal
- Provide superior customer service
- Accept customer applications for the company Perx Card
- Process all forms of payment
- Follows proper bagging techniques
- Adheres to all state and county regulations regarding age-restricted products
- Process EBT, WIC, coupons and in store discounts appropriately
- Maintain a knowledge of weekly sale items
- Good knowledge of product locations to accurately respond to customer questions
What we look for in you:
- Part time (7am start) availability with at least one weekend day
- At least 1 year of friendly and welcoming customer service
- Grocery and/or retail experience preferred
- Exceptional communication skills
- Highly motivated individual
- Team player with the ability to work independently at times
- Ability to multitask
- Focused, efficient with attention to detail
- The ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time
