Job Description: Restore Associate

Primary Role: The ReStore Cashier is responsible for greeting customers, sales, answering questions/assisting customers, answering the main phone line, pricing, merchandising, and providing support to HFHCC programs as needed. This position is also responsible for cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the Restore.
Reports to: ReStore Management
Duties & Responsibilities:
- At least one year of experience with cash register operations, opening and closing down a register
- Complete daily reconciliation forms
- Assist in keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise
- Inspect and clean incoming donations and equipment for quality before storing or selling
- Responsible for keeping main showroom salesfloor clean and orderly. Notify management of any issues or suggestions
- Assists with Online ReStore
- Assist with social media posts for sales and events
- Assist in periodic inventory checks
- Help ensure all areas of the store and warehouse are clean and safe
- Help with unloading pick-ups & deliveries, following back dock guidelines
- Clean and move priced items to the showroom floor
- Prevent (if possible) or identify any type of safety violations that may occur & report them immediately
- Ensure the loading dock is clear of any items before closing at the end of each day
- Help move furniture, equipment, supplies, and tools as needed
- Lock and unlock assigned buildings: secure building when facilities are not in use. Checking for unlocked doors and windows, report any unauthorized occupants, and turn on/off building lights
- Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences, events, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time

Experience:
- Cashiering: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
- English and Spanish preferred (Preferred)
