Crafty Crab is a leading provider of manufacturing support services to the global automotive industry. We are responsible for a wide range of services from manufacturing support to plant redevelopment and post-production. Our primary manufacturing support services include Supplies Management, Manufacturing Revenues, and Purchasing.
We are currently seeking a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers and assist in processing purchases. The Cashier will be on the spot when customers make or receive payments for products or services. The job duties include receiving payments, issuing receipts, keeping track of all cash in and out, and assisting customers with billing.
Job Description:
- Process customer payments for merchandise or services using cash registers
- Make purchases when necessary using POS system or credit cards
- Answer customer questions regarding products or services
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Resolve customer complaints, provide refunds, and enter records into the computer database using proper procedures
- Collect money from customers when they make their purchases and deposit it into the cash drawer when necessary
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a retail cashier, restaurant cashier, or similar position working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of how to use cash register systems (e.g., Circle K, Church Point)
- Good command of English language (verbal and written)
- Good computer skills including knowledge of MS Office Suite

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

- Evening shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Houston, TX 77090: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
