18.5 hours per week

Hybrid with working from home and Poole General Hospital, Dorset
We have a part time position available on a hybrid approach with office base and some working from home hours across our Home First team (based at Poole).
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small Business Support Team within Adult Social Care, supporting the busy One Team / Hospital Discharge Support Service.
As part of a small friendly and collaborative team you will have the opportunity to develop and progress within the role through our learning and development offer. This role will entail home working as well as working in an office environment.
What you will be doing
The purpose of the Case Support Co-Ordinator role is to provide a varied range of administrative support which may include data entry, and monitoring.
You will be expected to assist with diary management to arrange and attend meetings as required to take notes or develop learning in this area.
As part of our small friendly team, you will be working alongside and have the support of colleagues, the role is varied and interesting.
You will be providing system support for both Managers and Social Workers, liaising with colleagues to resolve queries and provide signposting to callers.
About you
- You will need to be conscientious, self-motivated, with a flexible can-do attitude and committed to our excellent customer service standards.
- An ability to work under pressure is essential as well as the ability to problem solve and gather information efficiently.
- A good working knowledge and use of a variety of IT software would be advantageous.
- You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be confident in liaising with a wide variety of people.
- You will need to work well within a team and be able to prioritise incoming work effectively.
