Description
You will be expected to Ensure compliance with MTS-Install Ltd and appropriate levels of the competency framework, maintain employee and organisational confidentiality in line with GDPR and comply with Health & Safety responsibilities in line with the Company Health, Safety & Environmental Policy.
Main Duties:
- Accurately assist and follow plans, specifications, and schedules to achieve completion of client contract to a high standard, whilst working within the constraints of company policy and relevant legal and planning requirements to a standard of expectation.
- Delivery and assist the agreed fitting installations, working approved plans, specifications, and schedules and to customer satisfaction
- Attend pre-start meetings and job briefings where required
- Assist in the loading and unloading of fitting equipment, tools and any other equipment on and off delivery vehicles
- Safely assist transport fitting equipment, tools and any other equipment when required to drive company vehicles
- Assist set out, construct and erect cabinets, shelving, counters, wall cabinet, desks etc.
- Assist paint or other finishes, including prepare surfaces as required
- Maintain and assist, clean company power tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Prompt notification to the manager of any delays that may affect job completion
- Assist to ensure that vehicles comply with statutory road traffic regulations currently in force
- Assist to ensure that all activities undertaken are compliant with driver related regulations
- Prompt reporting of vehicle / equipment defects and damage to manger
GCSE Maths and English at grades 4 or above desirable.
Training to be provided
- The learner will be studying the Carpentry and Joinery Level 2 Apprenticeship standard qualification.
- Day release to West Suffolk College.
- Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
Work safely at all times, completing health and safety records and reports, plan, organise and manage office furniture design and installation projects, maintain fitted office furniture sales, design and installation records required, record any measurements of components, sub-assemblies, products, models, like kitchen units, cabinets, desking.

Hours per week 39
Working week Monday - Friday (Weekend work possible) between 07:30 - 15:30 (Must be flexible)
