Position: Plasterer x 7

Salary: £26,500 per annum

Type: Full Time – Permanent

Shan Builders is Construction Company specialising in refurbishments, extensions to existing dwellings, conversations and building new dwellings.

Shan Builders are expanding its team and have a vacancy for 7 x competent plasterer full time.

Duties, skills & Experience;

• Minimum 2 years’ experience
• GCSE / NVQ desirable
• As a plasterer you will be required to prepare and skim plaster back heat insulation boards, experience and good set of skills are essential.
• mixes, or directs the mixing of, plaster to desired consistency;
• applies and smoothes one or more coats of plaster and produces a finished surface, using hand tools or mechanical spray;
• pours liquid plaster into mould to cast ornamental plaster work;
• measures, cuts, installs and secures plaster board and/or ornamental plasterwork to walls and ceilings;
• works to company set standards
• is willing to undertake training to adhere to company standard
• covers and seals joints between boards and finishes surface;
• checks surface level using line, spirit level and straight edge
• The individual should be prepared to work with our existing team

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,500.00-£26,500.00 per year

• Bradford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Drylining: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
