Are you a skilled handy helper / handyman/ handywoman interested in helping the elderly seniors with indoor & outdoor home maintenance & repairs so they can continue living at home independently?
We've been serving the Ottawa region for 14 years and we offer a variety of home support services to seniors across Ottawa. Your service preferences can be limited to home repairs & home maintenance work, with an option to provide other services as well, including: gardening & yard work, window cleaning, companionship, transportation, home support, etc.
Ideal for retired and semi-retired individuals or homeowners with experience in home repairs & home maintenance looking to put their time towards purposeful work while supplementing their income. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply today!
SEASONAL / PART-TIME / CASUAL
Requirements:
- Must be located in Ottawa (or Gatineau if within 15 KM of the border)
- Skill and experience in indoor & outdoor home repairs/maintenance
- Flexible availability throughout the daytime on weekdays (weekend opportunities also available)
- Strong work ethic, reliable, punctual, dependable
- Vulnerable Sector Check (obtained within the last year or willing to obtain)
- Able to provide at least two professional references
- Asset: prior experience (personal or professional) assisting seniors/elderly individuals
- Asset: Valid driver's license and own vehicle
- Asset: weekend availability
